How did you become a hairstylist?

I originally went to school for psychology but quickly realized it wasn’t for me. During a heart-to-heart with my stylist (which may have included some tears), she suggested I pursue hairdressing since I already had a knack for it. Plus, as she pointed out, “You just spent an hour talking about your life—so you’re already halfway to being a therapist!”

 

Why are you a hairstylist?

To connect with people from all walks of life. I love building relationships, sharing experiences, and, of course, playing with hair! Anything to do with fashion is where I thrive.

What do you enjoy doing outside of the salon?

Cooking, exploring herbal studies, and hitting up farmers markets 🙌🏽
